Months? Those are rookie numbers. I've spent 5 years.
113 hrs playtime? Another rookie numbers. I've spent 2,468 and this is no AFK playtime. I legitimately spent all this 2,400 hours on playing the game and aiming to get better, ALWAYS.
I've spent around 500 hours to get my first diamond.
1,000 hours to reach 2,200 elo.
1,500 hours to reach 2,400 elo.
2,400+ hours (currently). I'm a mentor now. I win 90% of my games, people are rage quitting against me, and lots of people are getting so toxic and basically don't want to improve because they always rage every time they fight someone better.
If you are practicing alot then still not improving then you are doing something wrong. Very wrong.
1. Learn how to move better and with confidence. Utilize dashing and the platforms on the map.
2. Pick a main. For starters, pick one that has sword, spear, hammer or axe. As I think these are the easiest weapons for beginners to learn. You can move to lance, cannon, orb or greatsword (garbage) next. BUT STAY AWAY from gauntlets, blasters, scythe, katars a.k.a the endgame weapons. If you want to play these weapons seriously then get good at reading opponents first. These weapons are useless for you if you're not at least decent on reading.
3. Learn some strings / combos. Do it in training first then practice with real players. Here you will learn how to confidently hit your attacks no matter how you are positioned. The major problems of golds and platinums is they want to position themselves to the position they are most comfortable at. In reality, this is greatly affecting their performances because you get too predictable here. You need to learn how to counter back with the wackiest position and strings you get ever pull out your ass. This way you catch them off-guard and you get your elo.
4. Rinse and repeat number 2 and 3 on other legends / weapon to expand your game sense so you don't complain every time lance mows down your ass.
I have 650 hours and I'm only mid-plat
