I can't download it.

im still having the same proplem. but i can see my familys games. so they share with me. and i played the game through them. but now i cant play it. scanning for uppdates. how do i remove the sharing? so i can try it without sharing

Okay thanks for the extra info, sounds like we've got something weird going on with family sharing. We're looking into it!

For those of you having the issue, are you trying to download it on the main account or one of the share accounts?

DelborN can you go to Steam > Settings > Family and just uncheck all the share options and give it another shot?

It looks like NoNsToPxs had luck with turning family share off. Have you given that a shot yet? We're still not sure exactly what's going on there but it might help.

Hello ! I've been having the same problem. I turned off my family share as well, however when I click play it just does the "Scanning for steam games updates" thing. I've tried both versions of Steam (Beta and non-beta), with and without family settings, ran as admin, etc. I'll be waiting patiently for a fix. (:
