Yes its horrible, horribly funny.

well except for the dodge part
dodge and they're out of a weapon
hold onto yours or throw yours and then punch em in the face
don't be a salty snail
I'm just concerned about it being so... viable. It's like a get out of jail free card, a fast and easy hitbox.
Also it feels like I'm playing against Duck Hunt Duo (if anyone has played Smash 4 you'll understand 3 projectile moves, all being thrown out continuously) every game. Every game is the same: Watch out for throws, dodge, punish (or not), generally try to rush down the opponent because they just run away and keep throwing hitboxes at you.
Playing ranked when I don't see anyone of my friends online/wanting to play customs feels like such a chore as of lately.
I do use throws myself because, well they are a core mechanic, and a useful one at that, but it feels unrewarding and boring. Maybe it's just me not being more of an upclose person rather than a projectile person.
They don't necessarily have to make them available in ranked games
