Beginner weapon/character

Hello.
I'm new on brawlhalla and I tested few characters. I really like Caspian for his gauntlets and the gauntlets gonna be one of my weapon !

but... I'm not a big fan of Katars (Looke like cheap gauntlets, idk...) so...

Any characters/weapons recommendation with Gauntlets ? Thanks. Was thinking to buy Rayman (or spongebob.)

(I also like the spear played bit of Arcadia, but idk if it match well with gauntlet ?)

If you liked gauntlets and tested spear. Wu Shang might be the best pick for you.
Spear is very newbie-friendly. It's easy to learn and not so hard to master.

Axe (Rayman) is also a correct option, but if you like the gameplay of Caspian, I think Wu Shang will be more enjoyable (Axe is a heavy weapon, slower than gauntlets and spear).

I recommend Onyx, cannon is pretty intuitive and the extra armour gives you more practice time.

Honestly I would do cross
Ik Ik this seems like a hard character to master but when u get blasters down he is a stacked character he also has some of the best dogs in the game that kill really early. I am a gauntlet main and I main Val because she is really easy with sword and gaunts both have kill confirm true combos and a close runner up at level 53 is Cross
