What are you talking about? No they didn't.
No you can't. You can after your dodge is over, and you can before your dodge starts up. But a dodge is a dodge, you can't be hit while you're in the middle of a dodge.
A full momentum dodge can be canceled midway through with an attack. This is meant to be used for follow ups and to be used aggressively. If you're canceling your own dodge with an attack or throw, it IS possible that you're being hit before your hit boxes come out of your attack. So you're not being hit in the middle of your dodge. You're canceling your dodge with an attack and being hit during the start up of your attack.
Unless my dodge is cancelling of its own accord, no.
