How many hours it took you to get to gold ?

after 25 hours i learned everything about the game and then the progress stoped: Stats, damage, some hitboxes,stuns, relativly normal combos. Now everytime i want to improve even a tiny little bit i have to play 10-20+ hours?
I know i should play more in order to advance in elo (1300 current) but i cant stop hating myself for losing every single game like its my fault.

Try to play a different style than yours, or change constantly your strategy in battle. Even if the current one is working good (obviuosly, following some minor criteria) as not always you are gonna win doing the same. It helps confusing your opponent. Helps you learning new stuff and getting out of your comfort zone.

It took me like 5 hours to get to high-gold with Barraza and Ulgrim and got stucked there.

Took me like 5 hours with Jhala to get to mid-Plat and still going up.

So I think it also depends on the character that you use. But your ranked level is not that important anyways.. as long as you always fight to learn something new, or to have fun.

Don't get frustrated for losing a match, probably not your fault.

I think Im picking up this game and seeing different patterns in playstyle every game. Im gold in about 3 days of serious competetive play. I dont think it is great I'd like to go higher

It took me 130 hours to get gold. None of my characters have it still. Double maining Cassidy and Scarlet.

Can you pull of hard combos and string for 10+ seconds? If not, train on those stuiff.

300-400, because i never really cared to rank.

Took me like 30-45 minutes to get gold, i just won every game and then I went on like 4 other accounts and got gold on those I am almost plat on this account but all you need to do is practice and focus on reading the enemy know the enemys combos and windows to dodge be unpreditable and you are good, Also you don't always have to attack first wait for them to attack take a step back so the miss then thats when you punish them easy.

From when I first opened brawl till I got to gold it took me 103 hours. Best advice, practice unpredictable movement and learn your opponents movement and attack patterns.
