(Answering your question you go to the game , press store , then look for "Redeem Code" and put the code there

yeah that format is the format for Steam DLC. You have to activate on Steam, not ingame. But it won't matter since I'm sure someone stole your code by now.

If you're wanting to redeem Steam Gift Cards: Go to a steam redeem section
If you're wanting to redeem Brawlhalla Cc Code/etc: Go to store and should be a redeem button
