Average Ranks Per Hours Played?

Wondering whether I'm behind or ahead of the curve. No experience in Smash lol

I reached gold tier in less than 30 hours but I'm stuck there now and I'm at 40 hours.

Never played Smash before, I did play Mortal Kobat 9 but I'm not sure if it's helped or not

224 hours (half or more of which should be FFA and custom) and I just got my gold 5 rank

87 hours and I'm platinum with 1772 elo. I spent some time learning the hitboxes and stuff and played with a more experienced player as soon as I started, so I improved quickly.

i've basically just been repeatidly throwing myself into ranked with little help
edit: i also don't combo that much besides the really easy ones like side light, nair with rocket lance

Plat in 24h, then in high plat after 30h stuck in long time but I wasn´t playing ranked anymore, later on diamond, much later tho I guess it is easily doable under 50h if playing right legend and accepting that ground combat is waste of time.

25 hours and i'm 2335 elo. Just kidding i played this game during open beta for about 200 hours but a lot has changed.

I dont think rank to time in game spent is a fair ratio on its own. If you have played fighting games before, some mechanics carry over IE footsies (ish) hitboxes, move priority, and canceling. Really just depends on how much you practice and learn

100 hours, platinum 2, climbing slowly.

288 hours, about 100 of those hours are AFK though lol. Oh, and I'm in gold 1, could probabky get into gold 3 if I did a lot of ranked,mince I win 80% of my matches
