Any useful help would be appreciated greatly...
That sounds like something more than common lag.
Take a look at these two sections on the support page:
http://www.brawlhalla.com/support/#lag
http://www.brawlhalla.com/support/#connect
It'll tell you how you can debug the situation and send us data to help if none of the suggestions work.
After a long time of loading, this happens:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/pffraymond/screenshot/267217313737059056
This has happened to me for four rounds in a row. Then I just quit the game.
Do you realize how annoying this is?!
Every. Single. Match. Lags.
With the obvious exception of non-online matches.
I really don't think my wifi is that terrible.
I can still:
-Watch YouTube
-Post this comment
-Play a round of online, non-LAN tf2 without lagging (not counting the fps kind)
When I ping pingtest.atl-brawlhalla.com, I get an average of 43 ms with 0% loss, yet I still lag in-game, with people teleporting all over the map, and still occasionally timing out while trying to join a server.
Any suggestions?
Wireless can have really good setup and speeds on average but still get lots of unreliable jitter in the connection that can cause you to experience lag. Bypassing wireless is the #1 thing you can do to improve your connection.
If you send in your connection data to support@brawlhalla.com we'll look at the specifics and see if anything else might be going on. (If you already sent it you should get a reply shortly as we work through our weekend backlog.)
