How does the glory system works?

I read the patch notes. Still don't get it... Can someone explain in perfect words? Much appreciate it. Tanks. ;)

You get glory coins when season ends, ONLY when season ends. This season that just started will end in december.

How much you get depends on your wins on ranked 1v1 and 2v2 (only those 2 modes) and they also give you glory for the highest elo number you ever reached in the entire season in 1v1 or 2v2 (the highest of the 2). The graphic in the patch notes lets you know how much you will get.

For the first 150 matches you will get 20 glory coins for each win. So if you win 3 times in the entire season you get 60, if you won 150 then you will get 3000 coins. After 150, the glory you get per win decreases considerably, to the point that 5000 wins are worth around 7500 glory coins.

With Glory coins you will buy specific skins for characters and weapons like the "skyforge" skins that they just released. They will add more of this, but not every season.

so pretty much its a combination of ur peak rank legend or standard and ur wins. 150 wins gets u 3k, afterwards u get less and less and it continues to go up to prevent to much being earned on wins alone. then ranks payout based on i believe elo. the combination of these 2 is what determines your glory.

For reference i had 600+ wins and i was low plat and got 10075 i believe.

What about it? You get a set amount of glory (20) for each win up to 150 and then you'll experience diminishing returns. Your total glory will still continue to increase with each additional win.

its to prevent to much glory from just wins or even smurfs. a diamond could drop to silver and just get win after win but after 150 they`ll get less and less, so its prolly gonna net u more glory to stay at diamond.

rank+wins=total. everyone will get 20 per win till 150 then the system gradually decreases the amount as it gets higher. the only thing that isnt equal for everyone is the amount rewarded for rank. a ilver wont get as much glory for his rank as a diamond.

try this explantation. when you win you get glory 20 per win but you get less starting after 150 for each win. this does not effect how much you get from elo so say you get 150 wins by day 5 and think that since you are only in gold you will get less if you go up into plat before dec but you still get just as much as you would. it only effect the glory gained from wins after 150

Then it doesn't matter how much wins I get right

You misunderstand, what is equal for everyone is the amount you get per win. If you have more wins you get more glory.

So If i had 500 wins and someone has 1000 wins and we're both the same rank, he'll get more glory right?

The 150 wins part really isn't important unless you want to try to calculate your glory before the season ends. The important part is more wins = more glory. So go play ranked until you are tired of it.
