New ranked glitch

It's the second time it happen to me.. I am close to win a ranked match when the other player stop moving. I kill him and the game freeze but you can still access the esc menu and the music still play. If you quit, you lose. I tried staying for more than 10min and it doesnt work. Needless to say this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off.. Now people can rob you your wins.

It's not a bug, it's what happens when your client disconnects from the server before the match ends. It freeze frames on the last kill because the server can't relay back the info that the game ended.

Then why does every time it happens, I lose and the "loser" win?

Because the likely problem is that something is wrong with your computer or connection.

Never happened to me before the patch and i've been playing since early release so I doubt the problem is on my side.

Quit out as soon as you d/c and join back in, quite a few opponents will give you thirty seconds to reconect when they see this happen.

Because since the only way to fix the freeze is to leave the match, forfeiting it counts as losing. The one who doesn't lose, logically, wins. It's not some hacker or guy using a lag-switch, it's likely a network issue brought on by the new patch. It's unfortunate, but the only fix is to wait for BMG to patch the issue. I've experienced my share of issues with this patch, so my fingers are as crossed as yours that it gets resolved.

Also, this issue may seem like it's only when you're about to win, but in reality it's only evident once you've KO'd them because then the game has to ask the server if the match is over.

Please remove the name you mentioned so we can prevent witch hunting. As for your freeze problem, it's probably because of your connection.

Well this is not happening to me, nor is it happening to almost everyone who normally has a decent connection. Most server problems are on the behalf of the person having problems. You will know that it is the server's issue if thousands of people are experiencing the same issue.
