There's no matchmaking in this game?

This has to be the first and only game with no matchmaking. I made a new account to introduce my friend to the game. We tried ranked 2v2s and within 3 matches, we were already going up against platinum and diamond players... as brand new accounts.

Do the developers have a plan to introduce matchmaking to the game at some point in the future? If there is, do we know when the approximate date of that release is? Much appreciated.

ok first off of course theres matchmaking, you got matched to an opponent. second youre playing unranked if you want skill based mm then you play ranked.

Even in ranked the matchmaking in this game is utter trash, im barely 1700 rating being matched with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ diamond players. The amount of simping for this game is honestly cringe.

if you go on pc and have crossplay off you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you're bad lol but if you on console and crossplay off your opponents will not have the same options yet for some reason this is tru whenever i go on ranked i make sure you have crossplay off yet then again if you're going to want a friendly match then do what you want guys like just dont play ranked and level up in experimental the ranked queue isnt all about battle its more about getting better and trying to level up your skill its more like experimental but training your mind to adjust try to get used to that maye watch more videos you might find a interesting string or a nice zero to death thats safe maybe you will find nice read options maybe you will learn new tactics against new players cmon guys you got this!

You just told me to go play ranked, even though I just said in my original post that we played ranked. I never even mentioned unranked once in my OP, hence why I ask if you're stupid or not.

if you actually knew how the game works, you wouldn't be typing this stupid garbage here. ranks reset every season. they drop hard. people that were diamond drop low/mid plat, plats drop gold, etc.

they were good previous season, but now their rank sucks ass because of reset

crossplay is ON on all platforms by default

Yes it does what, matchmaking works by elo so if either the queue is very small or elo has been reset, diamonds will play against gold obviously, because that’s how matchmaking works, borders or whatever have no influence in that. Just be happy you were able to play against better opponents and lern from your mistakes instead of being a sore loser. Elo doesn’t matter
