Character name origins?
This is a question for the devs or anyone else that knows the answers: okay so we all know that the legends when being made have a beta name and an actual name (example ragnirs beta name was dragon) so the beta name origins are self explanatory. But what about legends actual names? Some are easy like cassidy which is a fairly normal name and kor which is just a corruption of the word "core" but what about the other legends? how did they come up with names like Bödvar, orion, ragnir, ember, etc. i want to know the reasoning and meaning behind them because Im curious.

Orion is a cluster of stars, with some of the clusters being "Orions belt" and "Orions sword"
Diana was the roman god of hunt, that's kinda obvious why they'd choose that.
Teros gets his name from the latin word "Tauros" which means bull.
Scarlet is just a name, and it just sounds like a good english name, tbh.
Sentinel is maybe just because that sounds like a cool name for a super hero?
Thatch apperantly gets his name from Blackbeard, an infamous pirate. (Blackbeards real name was Edward Thatch)
Lucien is apperantly the french version of te name "Lucian", so that's maybe why?
These are the once i know from the top of my head.

If im not wrong sentinel means something in the lines of "protecter" which fits as he "Protects the city from evil boyband megastars" (Yep that's actually in his lore)

It is. It's Josh Von Evilstein, that might be the grandchild or something of Baron Von Evilstein the dude Scarlet fought.
Yeah the lore is geat. It's quite ridiculous most of the time

theres still a few more character names i want to know the origins of, ragnir sounds cool and all but whats the meaning behind it? What about ember, her name has do to with fire even though she herself has nothing to do with flames or anything? Is it just because of her hair? Also, what does VAL stand for? The V probably has something to do with valhalla, bödvar is also a bit of a weird name so im curious of the meaning aswell, im also curious about Azoth aswell because spoopy scary skelingtons, all these are still an enigma to me

Edit: inb4 we get a character named enigma

Ragnir might come from the name Ragnar, which comes from Ragnarok, doomsday.

Ember probably is just her hair tbh.

Bödvar is an old norse name, more specefically Icelandic. "Böd" means something in the lines
of "Battle", and "Var" means something like "Army" or "Warrior".

Azoth is apperantly a power used in alchemy. It was the name given to Mercury, and was the power that allowed transmutation. Search it on the internet, there seems to be a lot more to this name...
