Your best bet is to play a lot against those two weapons, to learn wich dodge directions are less punishable.
You should also learn how to space around gauntlet, it's tricky since gauntlet has a lot of "dashes", wich makes it hit surprisingly far. However, it still a short reach, so if you can properly predict it, you can hit them out of the dash with a bigger range. That will litteraly shut down their possibility to approach.
Don't be afraid of their GP, since you can hit through it, and they are slower on one side (their leg side, I think, not sure), so try to either dodge toward the slower side, or just stuff it with a bigger reach.
Finally, I'd say to avoid off-stage plays as much as possible. Their Nair can turn the tide very quickly, so try to stay on stage if it's reasonable. With the "!!!" mechanic, they can't camp at the edge anymore for those sweet gimps.
