have a question about colors

Next, I was playing a 2v2 friendly with my friend, and dropped a jiro with the color home team, being that he pitched prestomente.I would like to know how to get old colors for recent characters like these people.

You can't. Characters look like the are using colours you cannot obtain in 2v2 if the teamate is the one who selected it.

Basicly, 2v2 if your teamate has a colour, its possible you will see it even if you do not. Works for the enemy team as well.

Opponent A picks Heatwave Artemis
Opponent B picks Brown Koji

To you:
Your teammate is a black ember
Opponent A & B are both in Heatwave OR Brown

Opponent A & B are both in Heatwave OR Brown

To your opponents
You are either Skyforged OR Black
They are whatever colour they personally picked.

To also clarify, Blair is wrong, it does not look for someone with your colour, you are matched with the first person it finds you close to your hidden mmr.

Basically each team only has one color even if both people on the team chose a different color, so if person 1 chose green as jiro, and person 2 chose hometeam as azoth, then they'd both either be have the green color or hometeam color.
