The scythe and a weapon that should never have existed
The scythe has too much nobrain attack with light attack it can grapple you with the infinite it has the prio on you all the time the combot is worthy in player bronze your just at full grap and your win I see not where and the skill really does. You have legends that have to attack special to grap the no the scythe just does it with heavy and light attack nice really its not as if the worst thing in the fighting game was the cc not the damn coup of developers casual thank you so much

Scythe is probably the second hardest weapon to use in this game after Blasters. You gotta respect them dude. You don't pull-out scythe strings out of thin air, ya need the proper skillsets. Calling its attack 'No brain' is just unfair to the user.
Kernist Jun 8, 2020 @ 5:47pm
I even consider scythe to be harder than blasters. It's the weapon i am the worst with and learning it's combos is the hardest out of all weapons in my opinion.

Blasters and scythe are weapons that are proportional to your movement skills. The better movement you have, the better scythe and blasters are. Totally opposite to lance for example where you just need to be careful for enemy to not get close to you.

On the side note it is hard to take you seriously when you didn't bother to use even single coma.

Nice advice. I agree with scythe / blaters being proportional to your movement skill. This helped me out as a mentor as I always have a bit of trouble explaining scythe / blasters to my mentees. We can work out their movement first then move on to the next stage.

Not even gonna read the post.

Yeah, scythe was a mistake. It's too dominant in the hands of a competent player, and too garbage for the less experienced. It's directional mechanic and ability to toss people around is stupid. And that sair nair string is agonozingly consistent, and painful to watch in tournaments.

I really hate this weapon. For my playstyle which involves a lot of dancing around at close range, it is the MOST annoying weapon to fight against. I'd rather deal with 20 lance mains in a row than face one competent scythe.

This weapon is pure cringe.

I found out the best way to deal with Scythes. You don't try to read a scythe player because they are constantly reading you. Therefore, a way to counter this is to read... yourself. Predict your own path and don't take that path, do ridiculous things. This can create opportunities to punish missed scythe swings which have a really high recovery frame timer...

Listen.

Scythe is super annoying, I hate it, I think it was a mistake, and you can't change my mind.

Most players suck with it. I can beat it. But I hate the way it forces you to move and dodge in order to get around it.

Annoying. Not OP. I wouldn't even know what to nerf on this piece of crap. I just hate it. It's that simple.

ho sure , hate it all you want , but dont call a nerf on a weapon or say it was a mistake just because you personaly hate it

it's not a post on the salt pit but the general discusion , usualy if you only want to rent you go in the salt pit , if you intend to make a valid point about balancing and such here is the general discusion

but i agree they are annoying

The arguments to defend the scythe are so pathetic we can see the brains of the weapon ... The pros play it ... When you are pro you're not looking for the skill but the self win brief sandstorm it makes combos of bronzo there and he win anyone can do it when I type scot combot on the internet weirdly I see the same combot as him he created nothing at all he just suck like all the nobrain who plays it .... logic 'the scythe and the second hardest weapon to play XD ?? Putin I did not know that it took a brain to spam the thin grap so actually the guys a lot of old diamond on quit the game at the exit of mordex and weird everything the noob in gold and flat on up we can see the brains of the weapon .... and not talk about the pro really because sandstorm's argument is not valid he plays it just for the auto win view that before he play hammers in short in short buy you a brain before wanting to protect a weapon also spoils thank you :) and a board stop sucking sandstorm because it becomes pathetic;)

Did this guy called sandstorm sucks like all the 'No brains' that also uses scythe?

I'm sorry guys this guy is mentally brain dead to be open for discussions. This should've been posted in salt pit. I ain't arguing with a 14 yr old who complains about an oversized gardening tool that wiped his ass.

I'm outta here.

idk I think guns might be harder since a lot of the scythe's reads are 50/50, and it's generally safe to go for a read with the scythe if you know what you're doing. the guns, however, need very good spacing and movement, on top of being able to read your opponent and combo them, while still having to worry about spacing since there's such huge deadzones between you and the hitboxes. this also means the only real "get off me" option is Dair, which is easy for the opponent to read and punish.

as i say brainless scythe proof that you insult about age while kid i think i'm taller than you xd wallow alone add up your sandstorm oddly it's hard to have a brain when we play the scythe right? The person who is screwed up here his XD you take me out of false arguments his laugh you must be in gold to break everything or nn I am nice in platinum XD ?? your weapon its brain zero and its all your nothing to say your argument zero then close your mouth thank you a weapon which grapples to win has no place in a fighting game ... yes it's true you don't have to not know a real fighting game seen your brain ... and close your mouth, you are armed and no brain
Kernist Jun 10, 2020 @ 4:44pm
