When you select a character, there would be a column of stuff for you to customize, including character skins, weapons skins and side kick. Should be there for you to select

Have you restarted steam yet? I've seen people saying they weren't able to use various things they bought until they restarted either the game, steam or their computer. If that still doesn't work send BMG an email.
