Is hattori a good choice?

I chose hattori as my main since im pretty new at the game and a friend recommended her saying she is pretty strong. Im kinda a sig spammer and i saw that hattori is pretty good on sigs but i recently heard that hattori isnt good at sig attacks so i was just kinda confused

I'd recommend not picking a main at first. There are a lot of characters and so far I couldn't say ANY of them suck. Some are hard to play, but they're certainly not bad, since I've had people who know how to play them kick my butt.

Hattori is for sure a good main choice, she's fast and strong, basically the master cancer.

hattori is a very powerful and solid choice when you're starting out. her sigs are good, but I wouldn't say they're exactly spammable, as they can be punished if you miss. her weapons are easy to pick up but still have high skill caps, and thanks to her high speed and dexterity, she can dance around many other legends avoiding damage while racking up damage on them with true combos with both weapons.

Hattori is good untill gold. In platinum you'll get demolished unless you have extremely good reflexes.

she's not as good as she used to be, I agree, but she's still very good and a solid pick.

yes. however, the OP is asking if hattori is a good pick right now. to answer him/her, any legend is effective until very high diamond, where you will fight people who have mastered the game, and know every weakness your legend has and how to exploit them. at this point, you're going to want to play a legend without many weaknesses so your enemy won't be able to exploit so many weaknesses, because chances are, you won't be "better" than the people you're fighting. around top 32, people are of almost equal skill, so you likely won't win just by being "better" than the opponent, whereas before that as long as you're better than your opponent, they could be playing diana, probably the best legend in the game right now, and you could be playing isaiah, one of the worst, and you could still win if you're good enough.


tl;dr until you're ranked around top 50, maybe even top 32, any legend is viable.

I'd definitely recommend her as a main and long as you don't sig spam and basically know how to do it with her lol

I actually can't do much of anything with her since she relies on speed which I'm not very used to, lol. I'd say she's a solid choice /if/ you can play very aggressively, otherwise just pick a Lance legend. You can never go wrong with a Lance legend.

Except Artemis. Disgusting.
