Honestly Lin Fei is the legend I hate the most purely for her lore. It starts off like most of Brawlhalla's lores, being pretty whatever. But then the last section is awful. It says she taught a bunch of the legends their signature attacks? You know what that sounds like to me? It sounds like trying to make a new character sound cool by making the others look up to her. Thats the kind of thing people make fun of fanfiction writers for doing. Except Lin Fei is cannon (no pun intended)! Like let me put it this way. It says she taught Thatch how to use his inner crazy to summon the spirit shark using his "inner lunatic." So you're telling me the legend who was supposed to be the epitome of crazy had to be TAUGHT how to be crazy? Not only is that stupid, but to anyone who likes Thatch (...so basically me and like 3 other people...), he is made to seem less cool just so BMG could make their new character seem cool. And the lore does that to MULTIPLE characters. I guess you can argue that most people have to learn from someone. But for everyone to be affected by the same person? No. Thats bad fanfiction writing. Screw Lin Fei.

I can understand. I kinda had this thing with so many legends when it comes to the part that they all do dumb things together and one of them acts like a big brother to some others and stuff like that. It makes them look kinda dumb and I lose my respect towards many of them in a long run.
But at the same time, It makes me value the other more serious characters more than I did before.
Among all these legends and their weird bands and stupid relationships, Legends such as Ragnir, Ember, Diana and specially Barraza and many others kinda stand out with their well written lores, Because their lores actually tell the audience about their purpose and who they actually were instead of just making them look badass by throwing out some names that they have encountered in their past life.
Sometimes it feels that different people write the lores and that's why some are better than others.

But anyways, It's hell of a way to talk about strength on a legend that has 3 points in the strength stat.

The only other way we could see this is that this quote from Lin Fei herself is actually part of the lore as it shows what kind of bs teacher Lin Fei is...
