Switch Version Review
So a few months ago I played brawlhalla day and night as it was my favorite game ever, but as the days went by I started losing more and more interest in it and started playing other games (Tetris, Osu! and so on), until I eventually quit brawl. I hadn't played brawlhalla in 3 months before today, when I got bored from tetris and took up my switch to see if I could play anything. I tried playing Breath Of The Wild, but it quickly got boring. Tried playing Super Mario Odyssey, but I don't like the movement in the game. Tried playing Splatoon 2, but I am not paying for online. Then I suddenly remembered someone telling me about brawlhalla being on switch and I quickly started downloading, until I remembered I am not paying for online, so I checked the list with games you need Nintendo Switch Online to play, brawlhalla wasn't there. That was one worry gone, but I still wasn't too sure if it is free to play online or not. When it finished downloading I opened the game.

First Impressions
The game takes unusually long to open, but it is probably only because it is the first time I am running the game. I tried restarting but it still took 2-3 minutes to get into the title screen. When I was finally into the title screen I couldn't put my eyes off the corner buttons, which were almost impossible to see what was because of the low resolution. For some reason the place where the icon of my user was supoosed to be said "Offline", which I thought was weird because of the list I checked. I entered training mode just to see if the game was good even without playing online. Somehow the game crashed and I had to go through the title screen again, but it was worth it because now I can actually play online. I think it's pretty cool that nintendo actually let's some games be free to play online, because as we all know, nintendo is a synonym to capitalist. The menu screens looks awesome and you can not even see the low resolution.

Gameplay
I joined a queue with my favorite legend Brynn that was free with the "weekly" rotation (bless you BMG), and I quickly found an opponent. This was even quicker than on pc matchmaking. This was suprising because you would normally think that people that own a nintendo switch would call this a smash ripoff and rant about it on the internet without even playing it first. The first opponent I met wasn't very good of course, because silver, but I wasn't very good either because I wasn't used to the controls, but they felt really good even though I had never used them. I quickly grabbed the weapon before my opponent and started sig spamming trying to find out the controls, and after a solid 4 minutes, I had won the match. What always bothered me was because of the resolution was so bad that the numbers in the life count in the top right corner of the screen looked like there was no black line around it like there actually is, if you understand what I mean. Basically just white numbers with no black border. It didn't really affect the gameplay though. After getting my first victory I played 15 more matches and I quickly realized something. The skill level really differs. Some of the opponents are at my skill level, while others belong in bronze. This really didn't bother me, because I was always better than my opponents (no bragging), so I didn't lose a single time, but I can see a newbie getting mad because of this and uninstalling game and never playing it again. After my 15 matches I reached gold and had basically mastered the controls and walked to my laptop to write this review.

Pros
-Brawlhalla in your bed
-Brawlhalla on your couch
-Brawlhalla in your kitchen
-Brawlhalla in the backseat of a car driving to your grandmothers funeral
-Amazing servers. My internet is awful and I always get 1 bar on pc, but on the switch version I always had a stable connection.
-Pretty much equally skilled player as on pc.
-No post game chat

Cons
-Resolution
-No post game chat

Conclusion
The switch version is a really good version of the game, maybe the one with the best servers and it has the second best players (Best players are on pc, worst are on playstation). I couldn't find anything much wrong with the game other than the resolution of the switch and the normal stuff. Bad hitboxes, sigspammers, broken legens, stuff like that. Although this isn't anything exclusive to the switch version it still bothers me a bit. Actually, it never bothered me at all. After every single game I had a smile on my face, even if I won or lost. Won against a god, lost against a sigspammer, all had the same outcome. I felt happy and satisified that I beat them. This is something I think is exclusive to the switch version because of the post game chat which always made me kinda sad in the pc version and yes I have feelings. Controlwise I would say the pc version is the best and gameplaywise the switch version is the best. If you have a switch and haven't downloaded brawl yet, give it a try. Maybe you will like it more than the pc version. This is the end of the review and you all are gae.

The no post game chat is the best part.
