What is the worst character in the game?

I need to know what is the worst character in the game.

Theoretically the worst legend is the one who is most played because you are most custom to playing against that legend like mordex for example.

at the same time the "best" legend would have so many good tools at their disposal that they could overcome the extreme matchup experience throughout the competitive community. look at fox in smash melee, for example. pretty much everyone knows how to play against him, because a very large portion of the competitive melee community plays him at least as a secondary, but he's still a very strong character because of how effective he is.

lin fei and jiro are good. there isnt really a bad character. Caspian is on the lower end, with the whole range and weapon synergy. along with queen nai, who has such low air mobility in a game that relies on speed.

Are you a masochist, you really seem to want to know the worst. Nobody is "bad" it's all a matter of play-style and knowledge of the character. I saw someone say Thatch is bad, but I'm pretty used to his moves and would probably wreck most people in high gold-low platinum with him. I haven't used Thatch in months though. No character is inherently bad. It's all a matter of knowing how to use them.

and when I mention ranks, I haven't played ranked in about a year or so, but I tend to beat most gold's/platinum's I come across in casual 1v1's.

in platinum and gold, tiers don't matter. they only matter at the absolute highest level of play. for example, caspian players will probably be able to do fine even in low diamond, but once you get to high diamond, his weaknesses will become much more apparent, and you'll almost certainly struggle to get any higher with him, whereas if you played someone like hattori or nix, you'd likely be able to get quite high with them since they're just objectively better than caspian.

jiro only has one sig: dsig on scythe.

Ssig on sword isn't terrible, the hitbox on it is decent and kills normally, doesn't come out that fast though and can be punished easily if whiffed. Nsig on scythe isn't great. If it came out faster it would be a lot better (not to mention it's a 3 part sig which can drop if doing it off the edge cuz that's funny). Nsig on sword is kinda bad. It hits stacked and grounded, but the problem is the grounded hitbox is very small and it's easy to punish if it whiffs. If the grounded hitbox were bigger, it would be much more usable that way.

Disg on sword is just for stupid baits or reads i don't even

Idk who said that but it's been argued that he's the best sword

His sigs are pretty good and dlight nsig is a great kill option. Kills earlier than roland and hits easier than jhala

sword is more of a balanced weapons imo, in the way that it can do pretty much everything, but there's always something that can do it better. the sword CAN actually kill fairly well with dlight rec, but it's not as effective as some other kill confirms.

i think he meant that the paring was good so they had to ultimately nerf the character otherwise they would be easily top tier/meta at the time.

but yeah adding on to sword stuff... like 3 or 4 sword characters can just kill with with dlight into neutral sig fairly easily, jiro can't do that
