Account level, how does it level up?
Hi I have since I started playing wondered how the acoount level is gaining exp.
I am trying to get to 40 for the achievement.
Is it character exp, char. levels or gold etc that influence the exp of the account?
Or is it a combination?

Well, maybe you earn more XP for leveling up legends that are low levels, (which can give you alot of gold coins in your pocket). Really you shouldn't grind for these stuff, just enjoy the game and go cave Rayman's stupid face with a blunt Axe. And incase you haven't figured it out, you'll need more and more XP as you level up. So you won't pass level two as easy as level 37, nor you'd pass level 98 anywhere near that kind of XP you'd have for lvl 60. I've been playing for 1000 hours and I still haven't gotten to the level cap. Just to give you an idea how grindy it can be. Goodluck.

Also I think it's *probably* only match XP, that match XP also goes into your character and account XP.

That is not helpful at all. I am trying to figure out how it works. I randomly play matches and get there little by little, but what counts for the account exp is what I want to determine.

Just play, don’t leave before the game is done. The longer the match goes, the more xp you get.

I never leave and have been playing serously from the start. I am wondering about the mechanics around how it works.
Or do you actually know that it is the character exp that boosts account level and nothing else?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

While not a definitive answer I appreciate the time you have taken to make a reply. I have read many theories which you also mention. I have already decided after doing the horrible "The crowd goes wild" that I will just do as you say play with some legends I like. Probably those who are a bit lower on the level side to get some nice varriation. Also want to point out that except for the salty negative players, I have really enjoyed the game from the start :)

Thank you (both threads), I will do my best though I never have aimed for serious ranked play (you are correct, I am gold rank.
I praise you for spending thousands+ hours (doubt I could handle that), I bet you have seen a lot and experienced lots of great games and nice moments.

I do want to thank you for your maturity and civil tone. It's rare to be honest to see that around here. Just remember to never push yourself too much, don't play when you are tired of when you haven't eaten nor slept (if you do, you are practically asking yourself to be tilted) in Ranked. Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I'll stick around for another year.

Thank you, I feel the same about you.
If it still is enjoyable, you definatley should try keeping it up, an experienced player like you who also help out in the forums is a great addition to the Brawlhalla community and Steam aswell.

I love Smash series, but for Brawlhalla I really only play as I feel positive and filled with energy as it gets too stressful otherwise.
I think your advice there should be stickied in a thread lol (joke aside). Would help a lot of people if they actually followed it.

Honestly, at this point I'm only really staying for making mods, Koji and the forums. If those didn't exist, I would've left at least three hundred hours ago and moved onto Skyrim or something. Unfortunately, the forums doesn't get much love, both from the general community and the developers so I can't really say I'm a valued addition but nonetheless I appreciate your words.
