Scythe is Broken.

Scythe is the best weapon in the game by far, out of the top 8 legends played 4 of them are scythe characters. Really says something, when the new scythe chracter comes out it will be 5 out of 8. The scythe has lingering hitboxes that make it almost impossible to dodge out of comboes that get you do orange health. gauntlets also need to be removed from the game because they are the most cancer to fight against. Scythe is more OP but i would rather fight scythe than gauntlets.

Scythe is popular because it has a unique playstyle and since there are few scythe characters they have higher playrates as if u play scythe you have to play one of those 4. Saying its broken just cuz the legends with scythe have a high playrate is a huge leap in logic

Wrong. there are 4 character that use scythe rn. and they are all most played characters. Not a coincidence it is the most broken weapon and should be removed.

do you have any actual reasoning outside of play rates for making that claim? like you know talking about what the weapon actually does and not just how many people play it

Scythe doesnt have lingering hitboxes take a look in training room. It has quite the opposite actually, the hitboxes last for a shorter time than the animation suggests and knowing that makes scythe alot easier to punish. As for "combos" scythe is exclusively a string weapon and a well timed dodge will break anything it tries to do. It covers few options with each read so its extremely difficult for a scythe player to keep up as long as you change ur dodges. And tossing you around from white to red if they get a read isnt something unique to scythe either, gauntlets, katars, and cannon are all examples of weapons which excell at the same thing. As for Mordex, wether or not hes the best character in the game is definitely subjective, and one of the main reasons hes such a powerhouse is because of his insane signatures.
