Raging and disconnecting...
From my long (1000 hour long, to be precise) experience, I have come to the conclusion that most of the players below 2100 elo are extremely likely to disconnect during a match.
I'm making this post to tell all of you disconnecters why you shouldn't be what you are.

Why do people disconnect?

People with low elos, short tempers and pessimistic points of view are the most likely to disconnect in the middle of a match. They mostly do this due to the match they're in becoming "irreversible" (from their point of view, that is.)

What does happen upon disconnecting?

Typically (saying this from experience) upon disconnecting (rage quitting) from a match, a player gets even more tilted than they actually would have been if they played until the end.

Why people shouldn't disconnect.

I, as of right now, am a very experienced and high skill player and I have went through many different phases during my skill development. The most notable change in my behaviour took place very recently. The change was actually just stopping to rage and tilt overly much over Brawlhalla. I as a person have a very short temper, but it has come to my attention that instead of disconnecting, tilting and autistic outbursts I should use my brain to try and reverse the game, to try and adapt and take over the dominance in the match.

What I'm trying to say here is that, instead of saying to yourself how bad you are or how "broken" the game is while tilting (after which comes rage quitting), you should actually believe that you can reverse the game that's making you disconnect.

After all, you at least stand a chance to do something while you're in the match. By raging and disconnecting you're ending your possibilities, however small they were.

TL;DR

Instead of raging, rage quitting and not improving at all, you should try and control your anger at least while the match (from which your rage comes from) is still ongoing. There is a great chance you can take any match over, but your chances get slimmer every time you tilt and your chances stop existing as soon as you leave the match.

I know, I didn't present my point the clearest way there is, but if you read the whole thing you definitely understood what I had to say.

Don't be the "The Starks, fast tempers, slow minds" kind of person :steamhappy:

Thanks for reading, have a great day.

There is nothing you can do to stop the rage of this game. If you are mad you are mad and there's nothing you can do to change that. But no game, and I mean no game at all makes me angry. Other than of course, brawlhalla.
