So i was told to neck myself.

Hey i know this may sound like a little rant but i promise it's not.
I beat a Mordex in a Competitive 1v1 and after i beat them, they said "Neck yourself" and other words such as F you and other rude stuff, general salt. However the only thing that worried me is when they said "Neck yourself". If someone facing depression comes up with this guy and somehow make them salty, i don't want them to tell that people to neck themselves.

So i decided to use the report feature and wrote my concerns and issues about this and how rude this guy was despite me trying to be reasonable, will the report function actually work? I kinda want to know if it will prevent the player from even using the chat for atleast a week.

Edit: Btw i do not take this kind of stuff personal, this isn't about me but more for the people out there with real problems such as depression. This kind of words are extremely toxic as well as just dangerous.

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure if they get multiple reports they can get a chat mute

yup the game is fun but the community sucks and devs won't do anything about it... would be a fun game if toxic people just got chat ban

Okay... for one thing, necking is a dead meme that doesn't mean anything close to "F you", but actually means to slap the back of your neck because you did something that in the eyes of the other person was dumb. Secondly, if you actually have depression, don't use it as an excuse or something to leverage your opinion. Depression is a serious problem that affects a lot of people and NOT something to win an argument. Thirdly, why are you even bothering? They're probably just some kid who thought it'd be funny. You're only adding fuel to the flame.

1. They meant it as in "Kill yourself", and also said other things such as ♥♥♥♥ you directly. Read.
