Bow – Dodge Reads
I've been fooling around in Training Mode, trying to find interesting ways to punish dodges. Well, choosing attacks against airborne opponent (after Nlight/Nair) is easy since it's literally 'if they're above you, use Nair/Recovery' and so on, it's no-brainer. Or am I missing something?!
But Slight, though! Now it's where gets tricky!

And, here're the things I've come up with after just an hour or so – Slight dodge punishes:
You're facing the opponent who's on the right of you – basically, if it were a typical 2D fighting game, you'd be Player 1 and they'd be Player 2. Then, you hit them with Slight, duh.
  • Neutral. The easiest dodge to punish. Wait and then Dlight (into whatever string you want). You can also try another Slight, but you'll have to make sure they're not damaged too much and there's enough space for the Dlight followup.
  • Up. You can just walk forward a bit (I'll be using just "walk" further on) (or chase-dodge if they're damage enough) and Nlight or jump upwards and do Nair/Recovery/GP. Or instead you can just diagonally jump/chase-dodge and do Nair/Sair/reverse-Sair/GP, though GP is a bit tricky.
  • Right (away from you). Depending on how damaged the opponent is, you do Dlight either immediately or additionally walk/chase-dodge beforehand. You can also chase-dodge into another Slight, but, yet again, it only works if they're not too damaged.
  • Left (towards you). Either another Slight or walk + Nlight. Dlight, if too damaged.
  • Up-Right (away from you). Chase-dodge + Nlight looks like a go-to followup, you might chase-dodge twice at higher damages. Also diagonal chase-dodge + Sair(/Nair on low damage) or chase-dodge + Nair/Recovery seem like interesting options.
  • Up-Left (towards you). Jump+Sair, walk+Nlight or Diagonal chase-dodge+reverse-Sair. You can also do Gravity Cancel Slight, but I'm not really sure how that'd be any useful.
As you can see, there are some similarities, thus you can do the same action in order to try to punish few dodge possibilities at once, such as: Slight if you think they'll either spot-dodge or dodge horizontally towards you; chase-dodge + Nlight if you think they'd dodge upwards or upwards and away from you; and so on.

So, the reason I've dumped all of this is that I want you guys to advice me better followups and give me some tips to improve those I've mentioned.
Also what about Sair and Dair punishes?

you should also be using sigs for dodge reads. They often cover many more options, for example i play ember and i like to do slight cd nsig since it hits most dodge options. Off of dair you can do slight if ur close to the ground for a tight string or go into sair nair or even another dair using a chase dodge or jump to position yourself accordingly. Another one of my favorites off of dair which only works if ur close to the ground and they are moderately damaged is dair cd nlight. I almost always follow a sair up with either a jump dair or dair depending on how it hits them. If your on the stage and hit them off i often find that cd into gp catches people by surprise after a sair or slight and can get kills very early making it also a great option. Granted i have a really weird bow playstyle which relies mostly on dair, nair, nlight and gc nlight but it got me too diamond so i must be doing something right.
