1:find brawlhalla.exe in steam folders, right click >properties> compability> check disable fullscreen optimizations.
2: open nvidia control >manage 3d settings>program settings>choose brawlhalla and set power mode to prefer maximum performance
3: set this to brawlhalla launch options: "-d3d11"
And some people suggested changing cpu priority of Brawlhalla to real time in task manager. I tried it and didnt worked for me but different systems different solutiouns try that too.
The 3th thing made my game a lot smoother but i dont know actually if it works or something else changed in my pc without my knowledge. Actually that launch option is for unreal engine. Even i dont know why that worked for me you should give it a try. Try it out and let us know if it works.
Lastly the reason behind this as far as i know is desktop vsync that windows uses. Dwm.exe causing this. Brawlhalla developers has nothing to do with this in a short time. Many people complain about the last Microsoft Update(1803). We will wait to see if things get on the way.
