Best and worst weapons in the current meta?

What are your opinions on the strongest and weakest weapons in the game right now, and reasons why? Curious on what you guys think :)

I think that scythe and guns are above average, because they both have incredibly fast startup frames, and both can rack up damage incredibly fast. Guns can space very well and has lots of followups, and scythe has good angles, is the best at punishing dodges, and both weapons have good kill moves.

Hammer and Gauntlets are the weakest in my opinion right now. Hammer feels slow, and while its moves do deal a lot of damage and have good knockback, its speed is easily outclassed by almost every weapon in the game. Gauntlets used to be one of the best weapons in the game, but its combo potential is not as good as the other string weapons (scythe and katars), because it's more difficult to catch dodges, and being slower as well. It also has the worst range out of all the weapons.

Side note - It would be good if you don't spam "lol u plat noob, learn to counter xddd" in response to others, that really isn't helpful, and this isn't even a rant.

Scythe is definetely the weakest right now. As long as your smart about starting engagements and use your dodges well its really difficult for a scythe to build up damage. It has the lowest winrate of any weapon (stats from https://brawlmance.com/weapons?patch=3.19&tier=All you can also filter by rank and it has the lowest winrate in every rank but silver) and multiple pro scythe mains have recently quit playing scythe or quit the game in part due to how weak scythe is (see Atrophius the "scythe god" and Ephi). Best weapon imo is katars tho i could just be biased cuz i play them :p. Katar reads are absolutely brutal and dash and dash jumping really compliment their playstyle letting you get right up in the opponents face with ease. They also have a extremely solid offstage with sair nair dair and gp creating lots of easy gimps.

Axe is strongest due to the high damage and wide hitboxes and decent gimping potential. Most of the light attacks will KO. And if the opponent is using a faster weapon, all you have to do is parry a little and you win, unless they're exceptionally good.

Scythe is fun, but bad. Throw it in the trash.
