Then there are things called true combos that you cant escape, if you want to know more, use Youtube.
I know about this, but that isn't the problem.
Some people attack like the attack time don't have a cooldown, attacking all the way to the end of the stage in sequence, that's the problem nº1.
The second is the same combo working for others and not for me, even the "true combos".
Unless there's some hidden new mechanic.
I also experience your issue from time to time, but not to a such extent. Opponents escaping my true combos, while I can't dodge out of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 6 df string; dodge not coming out in time, even if I use it preemptively by hard-reading the opponent; opponent's signatures having no startup frames and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that. And teleports, never forget about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TELEPORTS SENDING YOU TO THE OTHER HALF OF THE MAP, BELOW THE STAGE. YOU THOUGHT YOU JUST PUNISHED YOUR OPPONENTS DODGE AND STARTED DOING YOUR STRING?! NO, HAVE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TELEPORT TO THE KILLZONE WITH NO JUMPS AND RECOVERY
Well, at last some answer.
Teleports, for now, didn't happened, but at last it isn't only with me.
Thanks for the answer, unfortunately looks like the game netcode didn't improved in the last 2 years.
Not every input you do is going to be perfect. Also spamming the dodge key, over using the dodge key, or not hitting the dodge key in time can also result in the feeling like you are getting stringed non-stop.
Also everytime you land a hit, you don't have as long as a cooldown for your next attack as you would with missing.
With that in mind. You are more than likely dealing with where your off with your dodge and not finding the right frame too place it in. Nothin changed about the game that is causing the scenario your having.
