How many hours did it take you to finally hit diamond, or even platinum?

Ok, I thought I was a bit on the slow side cus' I just started playing the game a few months ago and it's not my favorite game. Have about 120 hours in, and hit gold last season within 2 months of playing after 55 wins. So trying to see how close to plat I can get, and all that juicy glory as well.

Sweet! I'll hopefully be able to get to plat' by that mark as well. I need to further my hero pool at my elo though, that's for sure. I'm currently at 120+ hours, but don't play ranked much. I peaked last season at 1399, and am currently at 1447 (1 elo from Gold 2, lol) with 5 games won so far.

When I originally made the post I was asking overall hours altogether. It would be hard to count how many hours in just ranked since the times of each match vary and there's no time stats for certain game modes, afaik anyways.

Listen to me, don't care about hour/rank ratio. For me it was like 100h gold, 300h plat and 900h diamond.

1000+ hours to even attempt getting out of Gold.

At around 1.1K mark I was in Low Plat, and I've been floating around that and High Gold ever since by just playing 10-15 Ranked games per season. I've got no motivation to play more.

Aw damn, that sucks. I don't think I can ever get tired of this game. I always get a bit nervous about ranked even though I know it doesn't mean much. I am a one-trick though, so I'll definitely need to expand my hero pool for sure to get out of gold. I know that much. Hopefully, you'll get motivation to play again. Maybe this new update might interest you to get a few matches in?

it took me probably like 600 hours to get to plat. right now my peak is 1816, which is plat 3, although I rarely play anymore :P

May I ask who did you play to get to gold, and who to get to your highest elo, 1816? I main Ember, because bow was one of my favorite weapon sets.. and continue to play Ember because they still haven't nerfed katars, lol.
