Kor is also a solid pick, if you want a good weapon combination.

in my opinion none, every weapon in the game has something that makes it too good or annoying.

mordex has the scythe, which is one of the best weapons in the game, and one of the best signature kits in the game, along with some of the best stats in the game. he's definitely one of the best characters in the game (although probably not THE best)

wu shang is also not bad, thanks to having the spear, a decent weapon, and his sigs are solid.

val is another great choice, with good stats, a consistent weapon to fall back on if the gauntlets aren't cutting it for you, and a very good signature kit.

petra, however, I would say might be the best gauntlets legend right now. she has gauntlets and orb, which are both pretty good weapons, and her sigs are insane. they have virtually no ending lag, and some have huge hitboxes, and a couple are even good for mindgames. her stats are also not bad either. her only real weakness is the fact that she's a glass cannon. she has somewhat low defense, meaning she takes more damage and gets launched farther by attacks than your average legend, but her strength is so high that she can easily do the same to other characters.
