New to game, how to unlock other characters w/o money?

Title, wouldn't mind unlocking all characters with a crisp $20 and supporting devs, but money is tight for me. I know it should be possible since the devs said the game isnt pay 2 win and only cosmetics cost money.

Buy the All Legends Pack but honestly that's a waste of money since the devs don't deserve your dosh at all. I'd say just unlock them all via Gold earned while playing, but honestly just don't bother at all and go play other, better games instead. Forget this mess exists.

Log in daily, accomplish your daily missions and the weekly Brawl for the quickest gold. Play with the weekly roster, buy the Legends you're comfortable with and just play any online match to net more gold.

For every match played you earn gold. Gold can be used to purchase legends in the store. Just go to
Store > Legends> Legend you want to buy> Purchase > Purchase with gold

But also, keep in mind that im approx. 300 hours you'll buy all legends for free, so I don't think it's super worth. There are games who take a lot more of time.

All the legends in game cost gold. Older legends are a lot cheaper, pretty much it. The weekly rotation will help you figure out what legends you enjoy and if stick around you'll have em all before you know it.

like mail me to the moon said, you can unlock every character in the game with gold. while you can get gold just by playing the game, there ARE a few other ways to get more gold faster, such as:

doing the daily mission

playing different legends; leveling up a specific legend will give gold as a reward sometimes

getting a win in the brawl of the week unless you already have won in it that week

I'm pretty sure doing the tutorials give gold as well (although I'm not quite sure?), so if you haven't already then definitely do the tutorial (it's generally a good idea anyway :P)
