You must have done something wrong. I didn't have to buy anything, just create an account and collect the key. I don't know if this is something new they are doing or not.

Pressing get key prompts you to log in. If you're logged in, all you have to do is a captcha. If you do the captcha, you get a key that appears at the top of the screen on right. You're somehow clicking the advertisment for a laptop instead. Double check you've disabled your Adblock, Ublock, Ublock Origin, etc. to ensure it works, as well as enabling JS if disabled.
