The only way to remove competitivness is (sadly) to copy Smash and add more RNG, as RNG kills competitivness and therefore people will be more carefree and less salty because you can partially blame the game for the outcome of a match so both wins and losses never feel so "heavy".
But with how much the developers like to make BH an ultra-comeptitive game it's obvious that having almost every mode be made so that the best players always has the best chance at winning it's easy to find salt.
However it's not a fault ONLY of the game, sure it being hyper-competitive is a factor, but 90% of the issues still relies in bad players, the game is free and it attracts a lot of immature kids who get salty easily because they can't take losses. And, for personal experience, there are even people that insult "because everyone here is salty", there have been cases where I got insulted, I told them I felt bad and they were sorry because there were expecting me to reply with another insult or excuse.
Also the reason for tryhardiness outside of Ranked is because people don't wanna lose their rank so they play non-Ranked modes, as simple as that.
So yeah, we can't remove saltyness from players unless we start adding RNG into the casual modes, but since most Brawlhalla players are ultra-competitive then BMG would get backlash for forcing extra RNG into casual modes.
Why not do what you should be doing? If you're playing a game and want to play casually, then play against the AI. There's no penalty and you can still earn gold and experience if you want to unlock colors in a laid-back setting.
But if you're going to play online, play like you mean it. Taking the time to come here and whine about it just shows that you're saying you don't want to learn how to deal with playing with other players, and instead want things to be eased down to your level.
Judging by your specific "Complaints", you're pretty much admitting to having the beginner-trap mindset of requiring a weapon to fight at all, so that's something you need to work on. Unarmed is just as valid a fighting style as armed, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Quick kill? I'm assuming that you're complaining that they kill you too quickly? Which..uh...there's no remedy for that. Just stop whining and practice.
And as for people saying EZ, it's just a mind game thing. Don't let that get to you. You clearly have.
Honestly, there's nothing wrong with being competitive outside of ranked because that's where you go to practice. You wouldn't want to try out things you've never tried before while risking your ranking, so you take it to experiementals / strikeouts.
What I find odd is, if you're complaining about things that arn't even really considered "Tryharding" and are doing it so anrgily that you can't even attempt to spell anything properly....what do you do when you're playing ranked? Or do you not even play ranked at all?
I mean, I don't know what you want out of a FIGHTING game. People arn't going to give you free wins because "Poor Pitiful you, you just can't catch a break."
You play fighting games TO BE COMPETITIVE. That's the POINT. Giving people free wins goes against the spirit of the game, and so does going easy on people. Besides, once you hit a point, it stops being "tryharding" and it becomes casual to them. I doubt you've had THAT many games against plats, but if you consider "weapon starving" and "quick killing" a tryhard thing, then bud, you might want to go play something a little more casual friendly, like Solitare or Roblox.
Yes, I'm using this as acatalyst of salt, I admit it. But I also bring in my actual thoughts. And these are, that sometimes, people could just plya a relaxed match. No wonder why the community is this toxic. They're trying to fit into this "I have to win EVERY MATCH!"-Mindset. I guess, I'm just not fitting into that.
Sorry, that I had to make you write a paragraph, just because I statet my point in a wrong way. :(
