I believe dex indirectly affects attack speed. The higher your dex, the less recovery frames you have after an attack, or something like that.

It's not constructive to just quote someone else, but there is a misconception that dexterity makes you attack faster, while it actually makes you recover faster. So I wanted to stress that.
