Thoughts on caspian?

I'm no pro, i'm no longer platinum anymore but id like to think ive got a pretty decent understanding of this game. So far with this new character caspian.... eh..... i feel like he really sucks. Like really bad. now of course hes new, maybe in a future update he'll get better, maybe theres some mlg pro who can bring out his full potential but so far im just not seeing it. his sigs are awful. the ones that are easy to hit with are really weak with little knock back, and some of the other ones like his bomb throw in the air..... oh my god, if you manage to ever get hit by that i swear.. lol it take a miracle with the planets aligned to land that hit box, its thrown at such an akward angle unlike most anti-air sigs in the game with a tiny hit box that moves upward. its deceptive, it looks like its even higher than other sigs too but its about the same height. i dunno i feel like other than the fact gauntlets carry most legends this update, i just don't see many wins for him so far. i just beat a salty plat or diamond (not sure) player with ada mainly using unarmed for crying out loud. i dunno what discoveries have you made.

Caspian is a special boy and as it stands, I don't see a lot of people maining him. Sigs are pretty hard to land consistently. You have to be a good gambler. I rarely ever hit someone with gauntlets nsig by line of sight. I have to guess that they'll run into it and sometimes they do. Also he has no stacked options, which I'm not too happy with.

I love his katar sigs but the gauntlets... Meh

His katar sigs are definitely top notch.

The gauntlet however... Meh... His sigs are rewarding enough, but a bit too "luck-based" to me. They have a small and decieving hitbox, and some strange properties (Ssig goes over some attacks, and Dsig pushes you back but doesn't hit stacked, wich is exactly what you want with a "bait sig").

I have had good luck in landing the NSig for Gauntlets, but I think his SSig and DSig for Gauntlets are high risk medium reward.

His Katar Signatures are easier to land and are still rewarding when they do.
