What to Spend Mammoth Coins On?

Hello!
So I recently purchased the Valhalla version of Brawlhalla after playing it at a camp I recently visited. I found some Legends that interest me a lot while playing. However, these ones are not available for free. Would it be unwise to spend these coins on a new legend or 2? Is there something else to keep them for?

Do NOT invest Mammoth Coins into ANY gold-purchases.
It's criminal that it's even possible.
6 different characters are free each week, perma-unlocks are achieved by earning Gold.
Mammoth Coins are for skins and taunts.

if your gonna spend money on the characters i reccomend buying the pack that unlocks them all and any future ones to save gold
(to buy white and black colour skins costs GOLD 10k and 25k)
after about 100 hours of 100% free to play (1021 matches) i have bought 3 heroes with gold and have 26k extra gold in my account.
so even after 1000 matches i do NOT have enough to buy 3 characters, + white and black skin for ONE of the characters...gold doesnt come fast

Honestly, I'd say go with experiementals. You learn a lot more about the game by playing 1 on 1.
Ffa's can be fun, but they're the most fun when playing with friends.
