Other than that you might want to invest in a good aftermarket keyboard. Otherwise it's completely what feels best to you.
WASD + shift/ctrl for dodge, IOP for light/heavy/throw
one of them completely unbound jump from W and uses space, that doesn't seem necessary to me but it obviously works for him.
I personally use a combination of mouse/keyboard but it'd be useless to tell you unless you have a logitech g600.
But I think if you're completely keyboard the top set-up is about as economical as you can get... your hands aren't in the way of each other (unless you're playing on a tiny keyboard) and your hands are always in perfect position for everything apart from taunts I guess but you can always put them on nearby keys.
Spacebar for jump
Arrow keys:
left = light
right = heavy
down = dodge
up = throw
don't jump with W, don't pick up items with light attack.
I personally use IJKL layout with prioritize neutral activated and jump on spacebar. My movements feels inaccurate with WASD layout, even though I'm right-handed. It just doesn't feel right. Because this is a platformer game too, movement is important. So I use my right hand for movement, hence the IJKL layout. My attacks can be less spammy but more accurate because of my left hand but over time I got used to it.
Anyone playing with IJKL or is it just me?
ad - movement
s - down
j - light
k - heavy
l - dodge
i - throw
space - jump
thx u
W, A, S, D for movement (W for aim up)
Jump = spacebar
Numeric keypad keys
light = 4
heavy = 1
dodge = 5
throw = 6
I like to be comfortable. It is on the same line as the W, A, S, D buttons, and the hands are not so close to each other. What is most comfortable for me.
Arrow Keys = movement
space = jump
a = quick attack
s = heavy attack
f = throw
d = dodge
arrow keys: movement
a or z: light attack
x or s: heavy attack
c or d: throw
v or f: dodge
yes, you can have multiple inputs for 1 output
and jkl with index finger on j, and h as weapon throw.
if you use w as jump its hard to master chains like gauntlet GC dlight>nair, i use space and w as aim up
