Question about the Scythe's Moves
So the Scythe has a lot of grab moves which end with it throwing in a direction. However inputs can change which direction it is thrown as well as the damage and force sometimes. With moves like these, what are they gonna be named when we reference them on these forums?

If you do DLight, you can have it pull the opponent behind you, or you can do a forward kick. Scythe has two versions of DLight, but most weapons only have one DLight. For combos, we are used to seeing something like this for all weapons (DLight > GCancel > Dlight > SAir). With Scythe I don't know what the DLight would be named seeing as there are two versions of them.

This applies for all moves that there are multiple outcomes for.

The logical solution would probably be to call it a DLightF/DLightB depending on whether the second directional input is forwards or backwards.

Now I don't know how the Scythe's D-Light actually works but let'ssay that you can catch someone in fron of you and then you can throw them either behind you or toss them upwards, baybe we could use something like:
- D-Light for the first attack (when it misses, or the move in general)
- D-Light-Up (for the upward throw)
- D-Light-Back (for the backward throw)

We could simply add the direction of the throw, easy; we could use those to indicate the direction:
- Up
- Forward
- Back
- Down

Yeah dlight up/down/forward/up is probably how people are going to classify them. Or dlight neutral and special? idk

Ok I didn't want to not know the terms being used for Scythe. Thanks for clarification.

I got an idea so the normal down light(version you just tap the button once) will be called Tdlight (T for True) and then the other will be Mdlight (M for Mirror).

They called this "Active Input", so why don't we just go with it? Something like (Dlight > AI > Whatever move comes next). Yeah, there might be trouble with dair and nair, since the AI just changes the direction, but you can just name it a usual dair/nair when you don't change direction.
