A higher fps would cause you to have rollbacks and the like in multiplayer, as well as make things go weird.
set it to a lower frequency.
Heck...youtube videos only play at around 20fps* or so.
Movies too.
Some games are locked at 30 fps.
And there are other games that don't get any benefit from fps at all. They could run off of 1fps.
Brawlhalla runs best at 60fps. Running it at 144fps would not increase performance, or make the game feel more responsive. You would need see more frames, and there's a chance your game would get out of sync in multiplayer.
On top of that the animations would go hyper af on you.
*might be 25, I can't remember off the top of my head.
