Unless you want to go full glass-cannon with her, then use the one that reduces defense, i think it was attack stance.
You say its personal preference in your last reply. "Unless you want to go full glass-cannon" as in if you prefer to go class cannon you can theres nothing wrong with it
I said that as in if they really want to.
But i am quite sure that Defense stance would be the better choice in terms of factual strenght and usefullness.
I went into practice mode and did (a very lazy I will admit) test to see the damage difference between just simply losing 1 defense. So a sentinal un charged down katar sig will do ~34 damage to normal defense and ~33 damage with plus defense and ~35 damage with minus defense. So pretty obvious results but my point here is that the damage you take does not change to the point were you need the extra defense from the stance so the other stances are still viable.
In Dark Souls as example: It is viable to do a Soul-Level 1 playthrough with no Armor, Unarmed, No Rings and Items.
It's possible, but it's not the best thing to do.
Brawlhalla is pretty similar.
