That's what I don't like about it. the counter solution is not play and wait for them to come to you which ultimately wastes time. It's not a solution where you have the lead and forcing your opponent to come to the ideal they need to do something.
No, this is just a fighting style where neither player has to do a thing, cause one is waiting for them while the other is deciding if its worth it or not. I can see it though once they have a stock over the individual in which case forces the person to do something... but, aside that.
This was back when runspeed was a lot faster, and varied between legends.
The people who do this actually win more via ragequits and mistakes than anything else.
That is why it's an issue.
It's a low risk, high reward system.
You only need to be ahead by one stock to win when the timer reaches 0
It was more common way back when....In the nostalgia days.
