question about 2v2 ranked

Okay so I know there's a team rank with elo when you 2v2.. but there's other bars representing elo for each player as well. i guess i dont get what they are there for. I can assume that through winning it goes up but is that your season rank individually? and what happens if say that rank reaches like gold or plat, does that mean you got to gold or plat or is that just character elo based on skill? Sorry I don't mean to make it confusing but I can clarify if need be. just curious about the system. thank you for reading.

any elo you can see counts for rewards including, 1v1, legend elo in 1v1, team in 2v2, and personal in 2v2. the little elo you see beside you is your personal 2v2 elo.

ok thanks. that makes more sense to me now. So I got to gold in personal elo during 2v2 a couple times this season but i keep deranking back down. is it possible to get the gold border after the season just solely based on personal elo?

What ever you get in personal 2s peak elo will determine your border and rewards unless you have gotten a higher elo in 1s. For example if you were to get diamond 2100 elo and then drop to plat 1900 elo you would still recieve Diamond rewards and border, this applies to both 1s and personal 2s peak elo, also your personal 2s current elo mixed with your partners personal currecnt 2s elo determines your match making.Team raiting/elo only determines your team placement in the rank ladder and does not give rewards or border.

In 2's only your team's peak rating elo counts for season rewards, not your personal 2vs2 elo.
