Encountering a Bug? Read Here First.
Hello everyone, and we hope you are enjoying your time with OneShot: World Machine Edition. Though if you are opening this thread, it seems something has gone wrong. We’re sorry to hear that, and we want to do everything we can to make sure that you can get back to enjoying the game to the fullest.

Before you report your bug, please run through the following troubleshooting steps so that we can rule out these issues:

Troubleshooting
Step 1: Check the Games System Requirements
Please ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements as listed on the Steam Store Page.

Step 2: Make Sure That Your Antivirus Is Not Interfering With the Game
At times, Antivirus programs can interfere with a game running, even though there is nothing wrong with the files. Find the instructions for adding folders and exe files to your antivirus’s whitelist from their site, and do so for the files of this game.

Step 3: Update your Graphics drivers and OS.
Make sure that your graphics drivers and the OS you are running have both been updated to the latest versions.

Step 4: Verify Integrity of Game Files through Steam
To verify the integrity of the game files on Steam, follow the instructions here.

I’m Still Having A Problem, What Next?
If you have tried the above steps, and you are still encountering an issue with your gameplay experience, it’s time to report a bug! To report a bug, please create a new thread in the discussion boards with the following information. (Alternatively, if you see a thread that is describing identical symptoms, you can respond with this information there).

System Specs
First thing we’d like is some information about your computer. Get as much of this information as you can:
  1. CPU
  2. Graphics card
  3. Version number of installed graphics driver
  4. Size of System Memory
  5. OS Version
  6. Antivirus being used
  7. Your region
In Windows, you can also obtain most of this information through the DxDiag report, you can include this with your bug report as well. You can get information on how to run DxDiag on Windows 10/11 here[support.microsoft.com].

Description of Bug and Reproduction Steps
In as much detail as possible, describe what you are experiencing in the game. At what point in the game did the bug happen? What did the bug do in the game? Please attach screenshots and video (via an unlisted Youtube video) of the bug if you have any.

If the bug is happening consistently when doing the exact same things, include the exact things you did in the game to cause the issue so that we can replicate it.

Additionally, if you can find any errors in Windows Event Viewer related to the game files, please include that report as well. You can find information on how to do this here[www.howtogeek.com].

Hopefully with all this information, we can find a solution to get you back in the game, and fix these problems before they affect anyone else’s experience. Thank you for taking the time to help us make OneShot: World Machine Edition even better!

It looks like game errors with "incorrect format" if Windows language is not English
Happens on PC startup and some other dialogs

Getting an error message "Error: Input string was not in a correct format" when windows language set to anything but english.

hi, I and many others have the same error: "Error: Input string was not in a correct format, this error appears when you first log into the computer in the room, this error is in the Russian localization, and apparently in others

Setting the game's exe compatibility mode to win 8 seemed to fix the input string error. Windows is in english but other language packs are installed.

Same problem. I live in Russia, Win OS is in Russian, but I chose to experience the game in the original language. This occurs during the World Machine "boot up" scene and when you input the 4-digit password into computer correctly, in the latter case the bug is unskipable

The language error has been fixed, make sure you are on version v1.24.9.30.0 of the game now.

Hello Nick_Komodo. I live in Russia. I have a bug constantly happening when the credits start after the true ending when Niko goes through the credits the game freezes, can you fix this bug please?

Can you check the log.txt file the game generates after the crash happens? It should be in the game folder.

Hello again, dear game developers. And what should I do with the hang-up when Niko goes through the end credits, wait until you fix it or tell me how it can be fixed? I would really appreciate it if you could help me please.
