Report a translation problem
The differences are mostly very minor, mainly the ability to walk diagonally, a map on the fast travel screen and additional extra wallpapers, themes and character bios to unlock throughout the game. The way they handle this is very genius, too.
Depends on what kind of device you have. If you have a Windows computer, the original game was meant for that and is the version I would recommend first for the more authentic experience. But if you're on Linux or want to play it on the Steam Deck, the original barely works if at all but the World Machine Edition works just fine on those.
But both versions are great and worth playing, for their own reasons.
