Yeah he seems to of been inactive over the past six years since his last game release. He did make a couple of Steam posts in 2018 but his socials are down but i hope he's OK, i would love for him to release another Smugglers game. I quite enjoyed this title, i played this alot around 2014 when i first got into indie games on Steam along with FTL.

i really liked this till the screen went postage stamp size i found a game kinda like this called cosmoteer i sooner play this though so hopefully he's ok and comes back

hmmm, I am very doubt he is okay, otherwise he would come back and keep working but everything Smugglers shut down and gone, and no longer sale on steam, so it's look like he might be gone for good, maybe he passed away in real life and leave us in dark forever, no one would take over and take care of this game anymore. That is big downside for solo game developer who happen to passed away or unable maintenance due real life issues that no one would take over and take care of product sure as this game.

I think it's been 8 year since his last post on steam. I google, there is no where offical of website about his game. So no, I don't think he is okay at all.

Like Chess Battle, those main solo main developer passed away, but his wife take over, and do had basic knowledge to maintenance to her best ability but lot of player wasn't happy with due lot of issues game getting crash to desktop, it's sad, I recalled.

Big company had no problem, main developer quit or retire or pass away, they find someone with high price and hire them take over to improve or maintenance game as long as it's bring them profit.

Yeah, i noticed all of his games have been removed. Not even the original Smugglers games online. I think his last game was Dead But Alive! in 2015. I thought it was maybe due to poor sales or something. But maybe he is gone.
