Providing a limited selection of royalty free music to base simplistic puzzles around the time spent on this title is better used elsewhere.

Bland and boring.

Frustrating, bad on ears, not worth the money. Okay for an online flash game, but not worth the money even with a discount. Replay value only if you really really like listening to short bits of classical music.

Not a terrible game, but I encountered a game-breaking bug-- most of the time I have logged on this game was from getting hung up by the bug, clicking around a lot trying to get past it, and finally replaying it, only to hit the same bug again at the same place. There must be better music games out there, and there are definitely hundreds of better hidden object games.

Nice music for a flash game.

PROS: The music is nice, but it's all just well known classical music. It's also short.

CONS: This is a flash game. Point around the room, find the secrets, and solve the puzzles. Does anything else need to be said?

FINAL: The fact that I was able to 100% this game in under an hour says something. It's a bargain bin, find the hidden object flash game that in no way is worth the asking price of $5. I'd skip on all accounts.

TLDR: Pixelhunt section then tetris together some sound clips to match an original file as a boss fight. Odd and gimmicky. Short lived.

This obeys a very strict sequence:

Step1: Check your minimap for how many notes are in the room you are in
Step 2: Click on everything to find notes
Step 3: The notes form a sheet/puzzle. Solve the puzzle by playing Musaic Box.
-Arrange tetris pieces together by placing them in the grid outline, play their associated sound clip by click on them once, place the right pieces in the right order for the sequence of clips to recreate the song. You cannot place two identical symbols next to each other.

Once the minigame with the pieces is over you click on the minimap on the next room. Repeat at step 1. It gets very repetitive. The novelty wears off. There is only so many many ways that the pieces fit together to begin with, and with the symbol restriction, there is often only a handful or only one way to place things anyways. So you just kind of go through the motions and adjust things minimally at the end if the song doesnt play right.

The pixelhunting is nothing special. The textures are pixelated so its not the most pleasant thing ever.

Conclusion: Probably best off finding something a little more upbeat and catchy for your block combination puzzle gaming needs. No real narrative either, just some historical fluff text about music when you click on fluff art.

Fun game of you can find it online. It's free as a flash game but is incomplete. I bought it on steam hoping to play it but no matter what I do it wouldn't load visually for my computer. I can hear the sounds playing, but that is about it. No need to buy this game.

Beat the game in 2.8 hours. Zero replay value at all.

Played the "demo" on Armor Games, purchased it on Steam to get the other two rooms - which were no more or less difficult, challenging or exciting than the first three.

Complete disappointment.

The game is good... just.. not worth the $8 I paid for it. At all. There is absolutely nothing to do once it has been beaten - no replay value, no "randomized" new quests, nothing. Just an editor mode that really does nothing at all, with no way to share or publish new puzzles from said editor, and the editor itself is restricted to what parts of an individual piece of music are available - there is only so much "arranging" you can do with such a limited number of pieces and space to place them.

I have mixed feelings about this review. I do generally like these types of puzzles. The game would benefit from a little less hand holding, a bit more difficulty in the hunt and click portion, and a few other minor issues. The biggest thing for me however, is the programmers' apparent lack of familiarity with instrumentation. The synth music they use is super cheesy, and clashes harshly with the antique music box feel they are trying to go for visually. They really skimped on the number of instruments portrayed visually in the puzzle section. They use the trombonist for virtually all the wind instrument parts. Meh, it could be refined a lot, and using real instrument samples would make it much classier.
