LOW FPS.
Is this game really that more demanding than Remake? I'm getting half the performance.

1440p native with no upscalling on Remake and I hit 120+fps at all time. Ran buttery smooth and hardly ever stuttered.

Rebirth at native 1440, 75(low graphics) 60(high graphics). In Nibelheim at least. Even on high the game doesn't look great or even as good as Remake on my screen and it's buggy and stutters.

Massively disappointed.

WHat graphics card? I'm using 3070 and I've pretty much given up playing at 1440p.. Pretty sure it's using way more than the 8gb vram causing the fps to chug.

This game is really more demanding then the remake, you can even see that the graphic got increased, 60 fps is playable i will say for a singelplayer game.

try to lower textures maybe it helps or resolution to 1080p and low/mid textures maybe will do the work

ps5 game vs ps4 game so yeah
6800XT

The game performance definitely has room to improve. The way it looks and performs currently doesn't feel good at all. I can play Remake 120fps at 1440p and my GPU utilisation barely touches 90.

Rebirth struggles on low at 1440p and stutters and looks blurry, with GPU at 99% with very low 1% lows.

I didn't even try to play in 1440p with my 3070 ti
Games use way too much VRAM
Also I can't get the game to my desktop resolution ( 1440p through DSR ) to work in the game, can't even change the resolution

I know my 7800XT eats 9GB of VRAM on 1080p. (I checked AMD Adrenaline while playing)

it may not look like it but the entire world exists at the same time which is evidenced by how things work when you get the tiny bronco in the late chapters
The higher resolutions eat VRAM. I noticed in FF 16 it was using also over 10 GB @ 1440p . Apparently at 4k its using 12+
