First of all it's not weird at all you need a law to tell you something is creepy or immoral.

No, you don't. There shouldn't be any laws punishing people for their thoughts. Laws supposed to punish the acts. What sort of an evil doing happens when people play video game at home and looking at a hot character?

Look no one is saying there is a law involved or that Tifa's outfit pre-patch is immoral, but you bring up the lack of a law as a weird way to defend wanting a 15 yo's characters panties stolen in a game and to see her cleavage. having played it already and being quite big on FF7, I can tell you it isn't more "woke" than the original was. I mean, some themes in the original were already quite specific shall we say. Well, there's that in Remake/Rebirth, but nothing more. Imo, the only thing you may be wary of is the quality of the PC port, but as far as the game goes I believe you'll enjoy it.

I think you'll find you don't get called evil if you aren't doing evil things. Far right grifters exist to give their viewers a victim complex to radicalise them against the "other". It has gotten so extreme to the point where some people consider women, ethnic minorities and LGBTQ people existing "political" and "woke" and something they need to "fight", absolute nonsense.

As an older guy I can fully say it is nonsense. There are so many grifters now people who are chronically online won't notice how they are swept up into the algorithm and are spoon-fed similar topics and thus won't know any better that they're being conned and manipulated.
Back then inclusion was and is the name of the game, its not politics or "woke" (I won't even go into the racial context in redefining this word the way people have.), it was simply a way of making the world a bit more bearable for minorities who are often ignored or ostracized.

Dunno since when kindness and inclusivity is making things political. I would have thought this is basic human decency, but I might be wrong. Political are people giving those things a name (woke), villifying it. running around in each thread and rallying against a little bit of the pie for others, because they fear their big pie is getting smaller now, despite still having a sizeable chunk.

Also people seeing a boogeyman where there is none, especially with practices that happened ages ago and now are cast in a different light is laughable at best.
