How to obtain more Dust
I am quite far in the game, now, and I need lots of Dust to improve my gear or spells and so on.
How is it possible to farm Dust? I sometimes get Dust from Quests or by recruiting some Monsters, but the resource is scarce. I managed to get 1 or 2 Dust from selling items...

Can someone help me?

In the last couple zones you'll start getting loot items from chests that give gold along with one dust when sold. Takes a lot of runs to farm, but in theory there's no limit to the amount you can get.

maybe a run with more quests will give you more dust since the quality of loot increases with more quests.

Once you get the the vendor that buys loot from dungeon runs (he's the floating blue orb), you can get dust from him. Not every treasure will get you dust though, but in the end, you'll get plenty.

I had already bought everything and had 18 dust left over by the time I completed the last quest.

This is way old, but should be on the first page for new players in my opinion. When you get the option about 3/4 of the way into the game of buying artifacts, do NOT buy the one that costs four dust. It's pointless and only instantly takes you to another room on the boat instead of taking the few seconds it does normally to walk there. At the time I was playing it took many runs to get that many dust and that many more runs to get as many just to begin to start upgrading my equipment and spells again. If I had to do it all over again those four dust would of went for my upgrades, not to instantly appear in any room of the ship.

If you are a long way in, especially if you have thousands of thought/muscle, donate *loads* in one go at the chapel. Should give you easy monsters and up to a 50%-ish increase in loot quality on your next run (I got 5 dust from one run in the gallery this way).

Sadly then you won't be able to donate for a while, but it's good for a quick boost.

Is there a guide to what all the donation levels give you good and bad?
